Fall fungus hiding under frost

Every day I take a walk around the little woods of Affable Acres, peering under stumps and behind mossy trees looking for fungi. The colors and shapes always impress! Also impressive is how far into the winter season you can still find fungal blooms happening. Now that the season is turning to spring the wet conditions and favorable temps should soon produce new specimens for portrait!
